If you’ve been following Indian reality TV closely, you’re probably hooked on Reality Ranis of the Jungle. It’s not just another survival show; it’s an epic blend of glamour and grit, hosted by the one and only Varun Sood. And let’s talk about the contestants—12 fearless women taking on nature in all its wild, untamed glory. In this post, we’re spilling all the tea on Varun Sood, the contestants, and the first three episodes that have kept us on the edge of our seats!

Reality Ranis of the Jungle

Varun Sood: The Heart and Soul of Reality Ranis of the Jungle

Let’s start with our host, Varun Sood. If you don’t know him yet, where have you been? Varun, who rose to fame on MTV Roadies and Splitsvilla, is no stranger to high-stakes challenges, and his charismatic presence as the host of Reality Ranis of the Jungle is perfect for this thrilling series. He keeps the energy high while navigating between the contestants’ wild antics and emotional breakdowns, effortlessly blending humor and seriousness.

Why Varun Is the Perfect Host

Varun’s extensive experience in reality shows allows him to connect with the contestants while guiding them through their off-grid adventure. Plus, let’s be real—his fanbase is loving the opportunity to see him lead a group of strong women in the wild! His banter, coupled with his encouraging tone, is a huge win for the show’s vibe.

The Contestants: Who’s Who in the Jungle

Now, onto the stars of the show—the 12 Reality Ranis who are shaking things up! From ex-Bigg Boss contestants to MTV Supermodels, these women are proving that they are more than just pretty faces. Here’s a quick breakdown of some of the standout players so far:

  1. Anjali Schmuck (MTV Supermodel of the Year 1)

As a supermodel, Anjali is used to the spotlight, but the jungle is proving to be a different beast. She's graceful, sure, but viewers are questioning whether her elegance will translate into survival skills. So far, Anjali has been playing it safe—too safe, some might say. Her quiet nature may be her strategy, but she’ll need to step it up if she wants to last.

  2. Arushi Chawla (MTV Roadies: Revolution)

Arushi is no stranger to the outdoors or intense physical challenges. She’s shown that she’s one of the toughest contestants, powering through tasks with a fierce competitive spirit. However, this intensity is rubbing some contestants the wrong way. (Especially with people from her team nominating her sometimes.) Fans love her no-nonsense approach, but will it alienate her from forming the necessary alliances? Time will tell.

  3. Bebika Dhurve (Bigg Boss OTT Hindi 2)

Bebika is pure entertainment! Known for her drama on Bigg Boss OTT, she’s already shaking things up in the jungle. But when it comes to survival skills? Let’s just say she’s struggling. Bebika’s glamorous personality clashes with the rugged setting, and she’s having a hard time adapting. She may be entertaining the audience, but the jungle is testing her limits. Now, I know she's the reason for the spice on the show but she kind of rubbed me the wrong way. I feel like she's a lone warrior and not really a team player (thanks to her ungratefulness to her team members in both episodes 1 and 3.) But let's see, do you think she'll grow as a person or will her journey be cut-short?

  4. Christeena Biju (MTV Love School)

Christeena is bringing her charm to the show, and she seems to be getting along with everyone—so far. But Christeena has yet to shine in any of the major tasks. While her social game is strong, the audience is waiting to see if she has the grit needed to survive in the jungle. Will she step up when it counts, or will she fade into the background?

  5. Eksha Kerung (MTV Supermodel of the Year 2)

Eksha, another supermodel, is showing she’s more than just a pretty face. She’s quietly confident, performing well in tasks without causing too much drama. Some fans love her calm and composed attitude, while others think she might play it too cool. If Eksha continues to be consistent, she could be a dark horse in this competition. I love how she has performed in the show so far. Shows me that she's made up of so much more.

  6. Jeevika Tyagi (Shark Tank India 3)

As a businesswoman, Jeevika knows how to strategize. While she’s not the strongest physically, she’s definitely playing a smart game. Jeevika has been forming alliances and keeping her head in the game, but will her mental sharpness be enough to carry her through the grueling physical challenges? Fans are intrigued by her approach and can’t wait to see if her strategy pays off. Along with Bebika, Jeevika has managed to rub me the wrong way as well. I mean, who lets their teammate perform a dual challenge solo? (Yes, I'm talking about the captaincy task.) She knew immunity was at stake, but she didn't care enough, so I don't think she'll last that long on the show.

  7. Krissann Barretto (Ace of Space 2)

Krissann is a social butterfly, making friends left and right. But like Christeena, she’s yet to make a mark when it comes to the survival aspects of the show. Krissann’s bubbly personality makes her likable, but viewers are starting to question whether she has what it takes to compete. Will her social game carry her forward, or will she need to prove herself in the wild?

  8. Pavitra Punia (Bigg Boss Hindi 14)

Pavitra is one of the strongest contestants, both mentally and physically. Having dealt with intense situations on Bigg Boss, she’s handling the jungle challenges with grace. Her leadership qualities are clear, but they’ve also put her in the spotlight, making her a potential target. Pavitra’s ability to stay calm under pressure is impressive, but will the jungle eventually break her? Besides, Pavitra is one of the contestants who has managed to stand out so far; winning the captaincy task, having a blind following of girls who wanted to become a part of her team, and showing real skills on day1.

  9. Sifat Sehgal (IRL: In Real Love)
Sifat is one of the more low-key contestants, staying under the radar while others take the spotlight. Her quiet strength could work in her favor, as she’s been avoiding unnecessary drama. But in a show like Reality Ranis of the Jungle, staying low-key might not be enough to win. Sifat will need to show more grit if she wants to stand out in the competition. Not gonna lie, she really stood out to me. She performed the captaincy task single-handedly and if it were up to me I would have given her immunity for just that and eliminated Jeevika or at least given her a warning.

  10. Tejaswi Madivada (Bigg Boss Telugu 2)
Tejaswi has the experience of handling tough situations, having been on Bigg Boss Telugu. However, the jungle is an entirely different ball game, and she’s facing a steep learning curve. Tejaswi has shown moments of brilliance in her performance, but some viewers feel she needs to be more consistent. Will she be able to leverage her Bigg Boss experience and thrive, or will the wilderness prove too much? She did great in the captaincy task but then failed to make her team win as they didn't get along. Mira was on her own, Bebika was lagging behind even with the help of Arushi and, Eksha, and Tejaswi; although she tried to play smart, her team didn't support her, and she came off as a selfish leader. But I love that the moment (spoilers ahead) Bebika shifted teams, Tejaswi could show why she was the leader and made her team win!

  11. Mrunal Shankar (MTV Hustle 3)
Mrunal’s carefree attitude has made her a fan favorite, but is she taking the competition seriously enough? While her laid-back nature is entertaining, it’s also raising questions about her commitment. Mrunal has the potential to go far, but she needs to shift gears and focus more on the challenges ahead. Will she rise to the occasion, or is she too relaxed for the jungle? PS. I hated how Pavitra and the rest of her team sidelined Mrunal because she was not a model persay.

  12. Mira Jagannath (Bigg Boss Marathi 3)
Mira’s been a tough competitor right from the start. She’s not afraid to speak her mind, and she’s proven she’s in it to win it. However, her assertiveness has also made her a polarizing figure. Some contestants are wary of her strong personality, but Mira’s determination is undeniable. Whether you love or hate her, Mira was here to stay, but unfortunately things didn't work in her favour and she turned out to be the first elimination.

Spilling the Tea: The First Three Episodes

The first three episodes have been wild—literally. The Reality Ranis of the Jungle aren’t just battling nature; they’re battling each other. The show is serving up all the reality TV drama we love, from arguments over leadership roles to emotional breakdowns due to the harsh conditions. Here’s what’s been going down:

Episode 1: The Survival Begins
The contestants’ glamorous arrival in the Himalayan jungle quickly turned chaotic when they were hit with their first survival challenge: setting up camp. Pavitra took charge early, but Bebika wasn’t happy about Tejaswi's leadership. Let’s just say tensions were high as some contestants struggled with even the basics.

Episode 2: The First Elimination Looms
By the second episode, we saw the alliances forming—and the backstabbing beginning. The competition is fierce, and with eliminations around the corner, the Ranis are beginning to show their true colors.

Episode 3: Drama Unfolds
The third episode brought in more intense challenges, pushing the contestants to their limits. Bebika’s struggles continued as she found it tough to keep up physically, which led to some major drama in camp. (I mean, to not be chosen by both teams? That should really give her a reality check.) However, some of the contestants like Arushi and Eksha really stepped up, impressing both Varun and the audience.

Tea Time: Fan Opinions on the Contestants

The fan base is divided when it comes to who’s performing best on Reality Ranis of the Jungle. Here’s what people are saying:

  • Arushi: “Total boss! She’s there to win, but I think she needs to chill a bit.”
  • Pavitra: “She’s doing great, but I’m not sure if she’ll stay this calm for long.”
  • Bebika: “Diva in the jungle! She’s struggling, but at least she’s entertaining.”
  • Krissann: “She’s fun, but I want to see her focus more on the challenges.”

Conclusion: What's Next for Reality Ranis of the Jungle?

With three episodes down, Reality Ranis of the Jungle is already heating up. Varun Sood is killing it as the host, and the contestants bring all the drama, emotions, and grit we crave from a survival show. Whether you're tuning in for the competition or the tea, one thing’s for sure: this is reality TV gold. Keep watching to see who will outlast the wilderness—and the rivalries! To watch or not to watch? I would definitely suggest watch!
